The city of San Diego doesn't allow any monitor that is capable of reaching lengths over 3 feet. The county has no such restrictions.Unfortnatly La Jolla is part of San Diego city. The good news is Del Mar is not. To my knowledge the laws concerning monitors is not being enforced. Many pet stores within the city limits sell large monitors. Good luck with finding a place for you and your nile. Mark
