Baby albino Kenyan refusing food.

Hi, about 2 and a half weeks ago we got 2 baby Kenyans, one albino and one normal. The normal eats like clockwork, but the albino has refused both f/t and live. She has been treated once with a light dose of Flagyl, her temps are right, and they both have aspen to hide in. I've been using a deli cup to feed in, and have tried putting a paper towel in for cover, as well as an attempt at feeding in a very small cloth bag, but I'm not winning.

My concern is that she may never have eaten since she was born, although her weight is pretty good, so I'm wondering how long it is safe to wait out a baby before I tube feed her? I work for my vet, so I do know the proper technique for tube feeding, but I just wanted to check in with those of you who have seen this before.

I am taking into account that she is new to us, and that the weather here in New England is anything but normal for this time of year, so it seems the odds are against us at the monent.

Any info will be much appreciated!

Thank you!
