I know some people do it, but I wouldn't think it'd be very tasty, and maybe unhealthy, too. What you need to do is get another snake to eat the leftovers--lol, but that's what I do. I have a kingsnake who is always hungry, and he comes in very handy when my Mex. rosy is on one of his hunger strikes. Just make sure it's a reliable eater, like a king or corn. Any excuse for another snake!
