Rosy boas make great pets. Care is not much different than for your corn snake. They definately need a heated basking spot (e.g., under tank heater). They also like tight-fitting hide areas (i.e., rocks, hollow logs, tubes, etc) that simulate the rocky crevices that they naturally dwell in. They are generally tame, slow moving, gentle, fascinating creatures. I certainly love mine. You should check out some of the other forms (i.e., San Gabriel, Corn Springs, Mexicans, mid Bajas, Arizona, etc.) before you buy. Search on the internet for photos and info. Although the albinos are very beautiful, you might find that another form is just as attractive and possibly more affordable.

Best of luck!
