Those all would be ok, but with newspaper, you're going to have Kenyans under the newspaper, end of story. It's pretty much impossible to keep them out from under it. Shredding the newspaper is a good alternative. With aspen or other wood bedding I either feed out of the cage or put the food on a kleenex to keep them from getting it stuck in their mouths. They can have very enthusiastic feeding responses.
