I couldn't agree with you more. I feel whenever possible locale specific breeding should be the primary focus of anyone seriously into Rosy boas. My comments were primarily directed to folks who may have a Rosy or two, may not really be interested in breeding, and just want to enjoy the attributes of a very cool species of snake. For those folks, locality may only be of moderate importance. Whether or not Rosys should be bred of un-known locales is purely subjective but as I stated the offspring should not be sold as anything other than generic, non-locale animals. There are hobbyists who don't care about the origin of their animals and just enjoy them for what they are. Others, like yourself, are very serious about locality data and pure lines...and then many people in between. Sorry if my comments implied breeding and selling of incorrect or misrepresented subspecies or locale types...that was not my intent.
