:I've got 3 baby Kenyans that had a bit of a tough time when they were shipped to me- they almost froze. They're acting fine now, but they haven't eaten for me yet. I've tried live pinkies twice. The snakes only weigh 8 grams. How long should I wait until I try forcing them, and what would be the best method to do this?
I personally don't like to force feed anything. That said, what I would try. I would try offering the tiny live pinks, overnight in a deli cup one on one with each snake in it's own deli cup. Then I would try the same thing with a f/t pink. Sometimes little ones get distracted or over stressed that they need time with the prey to figure it out.
If I have tried both of these things at least twice each.....3 or so days apart with no luck.. then I consider stressing.
Let us know. Are these the lovely paradoxes? I thought I saw a pict.
