If possible I like the smaller pet stores where you can talk to the "main" people. They will have good proven sources and my local stored ordered the color I wanted and I did not pay for shipping because they were ordering anyway. I got to see them first and there was one problem with one of them and the owner was there to see it, so there was no question if I had done it or it showed up that way.

And my option is that the large pet stores snuff out the little guy (and someday I might like to open a store.... you know the American dream...)
