Hey, those were some great posts. Its nice to see a topic like this go for a couple of strings and remain an educated debate rather than turning into an argument. I know a lot more people read this forum than post here, and they are getting some great info if they read these posts... Mike made a good point about not just switching his whole collection over to the diets without testing it with a few to make comparisons. This is a resonable and responsable protocol for someone who has a good size collection and has had mixed results in the past.
I look forward to his long term feedback once he breaks down and tries the diets.
And again I must emphasize that there is nothing wrong with an insect diet at all "for people who just love crickets or need them for other herps in their collection :) I have simply provided an alternative that works just as well with or without crickets.
