The prices can vary, especially by age, locale and sex. For younger animals which the sex is impossible to tell you can probably get 250 or 300 on the low end for some of the more common locales (Grand Terre and Pine Island). Although this changes very drasctically by the breeder. Then the less common locales (Islands C&E) you'll probably expect to pay 500 or 600. Then, finally you have the CF leachies which will most likely be around 1000 to 1500 for a month old animal.

Then, for adults, teh price increases dramatically. Since it takes up to 3 or 4 years to fully mature for some locales, so people aren't going to sell them for low prices. Adult males (which seems like the only adults ever available) can cost 600 or 700 dollars. Then if you're lucky enought to find an adult female expect to pay a G at the least.

So the prices are very dependent on many different factors. If you're planning on getting into breeding, bite the bullet and spend that extra money to get an adult pair, chances are if you buy that lone male you'll never find a female.

Good Luck

Ian
