Thanks again for your input, mike. I am using paper towels as a substrate and I have a humid hide for my crested to use if he pleases. He has never had problems shedding nor does he look dehydrated, so I guess I'll cease with the misting. The type of cageing I am using is a rubbermaid with ventilation holes soldered in the side. I'm pretty sure there is good ventilation because I've never seen mold or fungal buildup before I started leaving the baby food in over night. I guess the excessive misting I was doing caused it to mold.
