:shouldnt you be much more careful with a venomous animal that could potentially kill very quickly????

Escuse me, but what part of my post gave you the impression that I need to be much more careful with venomous sp.? I've been keeping various venomous sp. for close to 5 years with not so much as a close call. If I had been less careful I might of grabbed him and removed him before he became seriously stuck to the tape. But it's not a corn snake that you can just grab with your hand. Ironically, my cautious restraint is what made it difficult to remove him in time.
