I never took your advice about the bowl, 1 because i like watching the lizard chase the crix, adn 2 becuase it is really ugly. I think that i may be forced to try it now, just to see how it goes.


:It’s another one you can add to the list. I recommend bowl feeding to everyone just for the fact it is easier for the gecko to find its food. Prevents stray crix from hiding and eating fecal matter (possible disease spreader). If you have a loose substrate it will also prevent ingestion and possible impaction. Not to mention it is easy to monitor their food intake. Anyway I started using them a few years ago (except when raising hatchlings), I thought I mentioned it to you falconer44 when you first started coming on the forum? Either way do not feel bad this was a freak accident. We actually lost a leopard gecko that choked on its own shed. So I know what you are going through, again I am totally sorry about the loss.
