I'm attempting to conduct a study on the polymorphic tendencies of R. ciliatus. I plan on starting with color (eye/body/dorsal) and if i can't find any heritable correlation, i will move on to patterning (dalmation, fire, tiger), and perhaps even on to traits like ciliar length at a certain age...SVL...but those would be extremely hard to do unless an exact feeding regiment was enacted (and since its hard to get live cricket shipments out into this cornell cold, I have yet to discover a reliable shipping means/service).
Right now, i am just getting my colony going, for possible research starting toward the end of this semester.
