I didn't mean any of my statements to be derogatory, just pointing out my examples. The point about cresteds and tokays and phelsumas all being different specie of gecko is a good point. There are probably tons of lizards and geckos we glossed over in our search for blue animals, but none of it technically matters because they are not cresteds.
