:I have a trio of crested geckos. I got them about 2 weeks ago, well the females are colored up but the male is still not showing his colors yet. The guy I bought them from is very reputable and assures me that he was almost coke can red when he shipped him. He says if the male is breeding with the females then he won't color up all the way. Has anyone experienced this before? Believe me it is not my husbandry as everything I do is by the book. Any advice would be helpful.
:Thanks
:

Crested Gecko's are very odd in the sense that they change color so very often. One day one of my gecko's will be stunning and the next may be grey. As for your male, he should have colored up some by now. If he feels at home in his new envirnment, he should be in full color. My male stays a beautiful yellow all of the time, breeding or not.
Good luck with them
David
