Hey Bill thanks for the comments =). My aurics do eat crix, but not regularly or as much as my cresties. Right now they eat around 10-15 every two weeks or so, however they did eat more at one point. It took me a few months but at the age of 6 months they finally started taking them from their bowls. Since then I make sure they have them in their bowls 24/7. They get fruit/meat every other day but I am going to cut it back to every 3 days. They are getting a little to pudgy as you can see in the pics…lol. One of the reasons why I think an insect staple is better; it equals geckos with a healthier weight. I also noticed that fastest growth rate once they switched over.

As far as my leachie goes, I have gotten him to take a few crix already. He does get fruit/meat every day, which I hand feed a bit to make sure he gets enough. So far it appears he has gained some length (and girth of course lol), which is pretty good since I haven’t even had him a month yet =). I can’t wait till he is full grown, its gonna be a long two years…lol
-Mike
