:Does not matter if you put them in the cage or not, he still saw them. That was enough to get him all riled up..lol. I would try putting the male in the female’s cage, that way he has no territory to defend. As a result he hopefully should not be as aggressive. Just plop him in and stand back, remove him if the female appears not ready. Your temps are fine; you do not need any additional heating. I would just put one female in at a time since your female cages are smaller. I can’t give you an exact time on when to separate them. If you see them copulate give them a few more days then separate them. I usually leave my guys in for a few months, however they get along with no problems. Watch them carefully together and make sure no problems arise. If they do separate them immediately and try again in a month or two.
