Mine have allways covered the eggs. I normally find them one and a half to two inches down in a four inch tub. I dont know if this is the norm but it's what my girls do. I've heard of people putting moss on top of the substrate they use for egg laying and they find the eggs under the moss but only partially burried in the soil...still others say they only use soil and only find them partially burried. I think every female may be different but both of mine bury theirs at least an inch down and compleatly cover them.
