:Yes, they worked fine when I had leopards. It didn't seem to bother them. The light isn't invisible to reptiles like red lights are, but the visible light they give off is supposed to give a natural moon light glow as it says on the box.

:do not know if the spectrum of that light is visible to them, but it never seemed to bother any of my guys when used. It is no worse or better then the infrared.
