Does it have a runny nose? Seriously, snakes get them if they have repretory problems. I think that rhacs would too.

:Yes it could just be a small respiratory problem caused by a many things. As you mentioned the temperature went down. This could have caused it to get sick. I remember one of my leopards started to sneeze after I dropped the temps. I don't let my temperatures drop below 70 at night. It could also have been caused by a dusty substrate. I remember how dusty repta-bark was with my leopards. If you use a dusty substrate it might be a good idea to wash it out really good. It may be a small respiratory problem that will go away by itself, but if it doesn't after a few days you should look into a vet. Hope it get's better :)

::Last night I was in my room and I heard my crested sneeze....well it sounded like a sneeze. He did it a couple of times and then that was it. I didn't even know if crested could sneeze. I thought of a respiratory problem or infection, but I shouldn't jump to conclusions and besides there would have been more signs. I find I do that I freaky out a lot with my reptiles and want to rush them to that expensive vet ASAP (LOL). I keep my humidity levels not too high, but I have never had shedding problems. So I don't think it is because it is too wet. Plus I keep them on Paper towel.
::Here is why I thought it might be a little cold:
::I have raised my temperatures now in my room (75 F) and then let them drop a bit a night. Then one day I turned my room heater off and for got about it for a couple of days. My temperatures were 66 - 68 F for about 2 days then BOOM I put them up again. Kind of like humans when we have dramatic temperature changes we get sick.
::Occasionally I do forget about my heater and this temperature drop happens, but my room normaally only gets to about 70 F before I catch it. Do you think this could be harmful to my Cresteds???
::What are your thoughts?
::Sorry this is so long!! :)
::Thanks,
::Liz
