It's like 12 feet from my bed to there cages and when I get up real fast some will scatter and hide. I think they have better eye sight than leopards, because I've noticed that most leopards wont go after food until it moves, but cresties(and my gargoyles) will go after them even when they are staying still. And their eyes would have to be good so that thye don't miss a branch and fall.


:Not sure exactly how far, but they do have good vision. We catch our guys following us around the room a lot, its quite cute =).
