:Female crested geckos have the ability to hold sperm just like leopards. Our females were with the males only for a few months, but continued to lay eggs long after they were separated. There might be able to notice some swelling around the abdomen when they are gravid, however most are to well fed. It is usually to hard to see them through the skin, it is not as transparent as leos. 42 days is not unheard of, but I would not worry too much. Egg binding is not that common as far as I know in cresteds. However if you are really worried, get an xray.
