Do you use the grow lights for plants in the tank? Because UV is not really necessary for nocturnal geckos. I would suggest removing one (it should not bother the plants if there is only one) of them and making room for the incandescent light. A UTH will make the glass way to hot for a crested, unless you hook up a rheostat. Also since you are using a loose substrate I highly recommend you use bowls when feeding your geckos. This way any misfires while trying to catch crix will not lead to a mouth full of substrate.
