I doubt that it would work for me, because it would probably melt through my lids. They're very thin. It makes cutting with a carpenters knife easier. Might try it with a thicker lid though. I never thought about that doing that.


:I have read you can use a soldering iron to melt the plastic and the aluminum screen together. You just run it along the edge of the screen and it melts right in. This only works with the metal screens though.
