Hi.
My CF male just scared me sh*tless..
I was watching TV when I heard some whistling noises from the leachie tank right besides me.
I turned my head and saw that my male was behaving very wierd. He was walking up a branch towards the female but he was shaking like a leaf.
His whole body/head/tail was shaking violently.
I got scared out of my mind and was sure that he was going to die right there and then. When he reached the top of the branch (he stopped 3 inches from the female) his body stopped shaking but he continued headbanging infront of the female.
When I opened the enclosure and they saw me the male ran off while the female didn't move.
I took out the male for closer inspection but he seems fine now (just a little grumpy). He doesn't shake anymore.
Has anyone experianced this behaviour in leachies?
Should I be worried?
Could it be a sign of aggression?
I have heard whistling noises from the tank before but have never witnessed any agression between these leachies, they almost always sleep next to eachother during the day.
I keep them in a well planted 250 gal tall enclosure.
Plz help.
regards
obeligz
