I put it dry into a shallow dish, and mix in a bit of calcium. My cresteds love bugs...most will even take superworms. They aren't quite as fond of fruit, and so I use this is another alternative. It's one reason I can't wait to try the crested gecko food. I hope they have it in bulk...I've got a lot of rhacs to feed. :)

By the way...I know what you mean about your mantid. It's too bad they do not live longer.
