You're doing it wrong. You are putting the link to the entire web page in as the image link. eg: you are putting in a link that ends in .html instead of a link that ends in .jpg.

Also, you can just select from the list of pictures that you've uploaded. It should have a drop down menu that says "Select Image From Photo Gallery", and then you pick the one you want.
