I don't have a u/v execpt for my plants because if you think about it the crested out come out at night and are in hiding most of the day. In the wild it would be the same and they would probably get none or very little sunlight.
Well those are my thoughts anyway.


:hey guys i jsut got my first pair of cresteds today!! they are amazing! ha im really pumped, lol. i do have some questions though, i have the 2 little guys set up in an arboreal 15 gallon with bed-a-beast for substrate and some various plants and grapewood. my question is do i put a UV tube on them or are they ok without it? ive gotten all kinds of mixed responses to this question, some people say they dont need it others say they do, what are your guys opinions?
