The reptile center in centerreach, LI has or had the retic you're talking about. I was inquiring about it a couple of months ago- for it's a beautiful animal; a very intricate and totally different pattern than any retic I've ever seen. However, what information I was able to find on them, appears to steer me to believe that they get big like the sulawesi's and makasars. I do not believe them to be a dwarf, although there is not much info on them, and I by no means consider myself a retic expert- what are some other people's thoughts on the halmaheras.
