That cuz I took the pix right after a cleaning. it looks much dirtier after a while. I actually ended up putting in some more water to get the ramp closer to the basking light.

:your setup looks so clean.. lol.. My tank is old and though the water is clear, the glass always has fingerprints on it. I wanted to ask why not fill the tank up some more with water? RES love to swim and even as hatchlings mine have as much of a 55 gal that I can fill and not have them over the top.. they love it.
