:Your set-up will be fine like "Jimsworld" said, but you hatchling RES will quickley out grow a 10 gallon tank in just a matter of a few short months. Keep in mind that An adult RES depending on sex will range anywhere from 8 to 12" requiring a tank around 100 gallons

I have the uvb light i just forgot to ad. As for size i have more tanks at my house than i know what to do with..
s for my choice i'm still debting and reading up on them. I am also looking into mud turtles and a few others. I guess i'll know in the next month or ywo. Thanx Guys for your input..
