Eheim Question

Hi everybody, long time lurker first time poster. I have two RES both about a year old and im about to move them to a 55 gallon tank. Im making the plunge for an Eheim Pro II canister filter and I have some questions. There are 2 basic models, the 2026, which is rated for 92 gallons and has a 172 GPH filter rate. The 2028 is rated for 158 gallons and has a GPH of 198. I know turtles are extra dirty, hence my reason for getting the canister, but is the 2028 going to be overkill? I dont want to spend the extra money if its not going to make a difference in a 55 G tank. They also offer built in heater versions of both canisters, 2126 and 2128 respectively, but at a cost much higher then a standalone heater. Anyone have any experience with an in canister heater? Is it going to be worth the extra 40 dollars or so? Is it something that may just break on me in a couple months? It would be nice to have the heater out of the tank, but if I have to get the 2028 model im looking at 260 dollars without media. Any experiences froms someone with an eheim or any canisters would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!!!
