New turtle

I had the same problem with my little guy when I first got him. He didn't sem to eat, atleast when I was watching. I just put his food in the tank and left him alone for about an hour or so. When I'd come back the food would be gone and he'd be in his net basking. I'd definatly get the shrimp, they go nuts over that stuff.
