Hi all, I just had an almost horrid accident with my turtles. I have a waterfall filter in the tank with the babies, and they had somehow gotten the intake guard off of it and one of them was stuck with his head in the intake pipe. I found him/her in time to save it although it does have just a touch of blood in his eyes. But it is very active now after about 4 hours on a warm basking rock. I took him out of the water so there was no chance of him getting too weak to swim or climb out of the water on to his basking spot. But I thought this might be something that we all should look out for.
