mine never ate, but he finally did today. i bought him some live brine shrimp and he went straight for it. it was cute and grotesque at the same time. he woouldn't touch anything else. if you got them in chinatown ny, theres a place called petland on 14th near union square that gets live brine shrimp. thats where i got mine.

:i got them from china town (yeah i know it's horrible) they looked much stronger than the others and i couldn't leave them to die. So i took them home, they're in a 30 gallon... half land half water... heat and uvb... they still haven't eaten a thing (it's been close to a month) i give them zoo med hatchling pellets, wax worms and guppies. they haven't touched any of them. how long can they go without eating? any ideas on how to tempt them to eat? also the one keeps kimself burried in the topsoil... i uncover him now and then and put him in the water to try to encourage him to be active. i have tortois experience, just not a whole lot of experience with res... any hints? thanks!
