:Just figured i'd share some pics of my new keelback. He's currently in a secured 10gal tank, with live moss, a damp orchid bark/coconut fibre mix substrate, a nice peice of grapewood and a strategically placed rock. I keep a towel draped over most of the tank for security, but removed it for the pics. Seems to be enjoying the set up, as he moves in an out of the moss, and hides in the hollow the grapewood creates. So far he's refused a lizard or live mouse, so i'm going to try some fish next. He's a bit on the thin side so i'd like to get him feeding as soon as possible. Since he's WC, and I know from China, i've been keeping him at room temp, which is around 75. He has the neatest behavior, standing with his neck up like a hooded cobra, surveying his surroundings, very still, then retreating back to his hollow. Very cool snake.
