This message isnt at all intended to be critical of anyone, it is just a question. I keep many snake species, all of which are non-venomous, but have worked with a few venomous species. I have been reading and researching in efforts to find a mangrove snake that is captive bred. Thru this search I have found that many of the rear-fanged snakes (b. dendro/FWC/vines/etc) are imported and I was wondering why? Are most of these species difficult to produce or are imports just cheaper, or are all of you holding on to the cb babies :) j/k. My experience has been that cb is always better I would love any input from the experts.
