Hi,

I know next to nuts about Macklot's so I can't give you a comparison. However, I believe that you can't generalise a snake's character as aggressive, docile or whatever. There is always an exception to the rule.

From my experience, most mangroves have been rather docile or can be calmed down through handling. In fact, if you read through this forum, there are accounts of mangroves being handleable. Having said that, there are some other forumers who have found them to be mean and aggressive.

In other words, just when you think that this specie is docile or otherwise, you may just meet up with something that is opposite to what you expect. Hope this makes sense.

Cheers!
Francis
