: OK, so I have inquired about her problem and tried to cut down on her feeding(she ate a cagemates rat when told not to.LOL)and contacted the fella who gave her to me. He has bred her for the last 3 years successfully and forgot to tell me she only sheds 1-2 times/year!! This is why she is FAT.I just wrote him back to see if she is very old but he's good so I think this may be a condition--anyone ever heard of such a thing??She is now outwardly healthy(as a fat snake)and may already be gravid due to lack of a post-brum shed as a key..So now I have to watch her alot more closely as she may not even have a pre-laying shed. I will look to this unintentional breeding as a chance for her to lose a bunch of weight...we'll see. Thanks for the past concerns,Jeff
