: Has anyone seen females that are striped or speckled? I was wondering if their might be a sexual dimorphism is Spilotes. : Second, do any of you have pics I can use for a spilotes web site I'm working on? Locality specific snakes would be great but other pics of the snakes, eggs, etc are all welcome. : I'm trying to gather any keeping, breeding, feeding info to produce a general resource. The first draft is at: http://www.herpnet.net/spilotes/ : I've recently come to understand the importance of humidity in keeping these snakes. They don't seem to feed in less humid environments. I switched mine from a spacious, airy and very dry environment (the midwest in the winter) to a small humid enclosure, which finally prompted them to feed. : Joe
