how much an adult snake really needs to eat? My adult animals are fed a mouse every couple weeks. Yes, they are fed more in the spring in years that they are being breed (which I don't do every year), but otherwise I would ask you to consider what you want your animals to resemble. Speaking for myself, the animals in my group closely resemble wild animals. They have excellent muscle tone, with no fat deposits or stretched skin. I would argue that these animals, just as people, live longer, and are more active.

: One small mouse every two weeks sounds very sparse. How big are your breeders.
