Male combat is ritualistic but can be harmful with big snakes in a small space for too long. Their ritual includes throwing bodies on top of each other(like the mating position) but look at the tail reaction. OUCH it hurts fron here! Once you remove one of the males throw the female in and if she is ready he WILL HAVE NO PROBLEM.HAHA.Copulation involves penetration and if this was witnessed than you have a female there. After seperation is also a very good time to feed as they are usually hyper sensetive. Good luck,Jeff
