Do both have gently tapering tails or does one taper more sharply around the cloaca ? If so, it's a good chance it's a female. This is quite pronounced in both my females.
Is the snake following the other around ? My male has stopped eating & has been following the female around the viv - camping out by her hide if she's just eaten. If they do start mating you'll hear it !
I don't think the males would fight unless there's a female to fight over
