My family and I were there today to get mice for our snakes and I noticed in their reptile room a yellow rat snake, it said that it was looking for a new home on the sign that it was brought in by a customer, so we inquired about it and they refused to sell it to us. They said that the people who broght it in caught it in Florida and that they couldn't sell it to us because it was wild caught, so i asked what they were going to do with it, at first they refused to answer and I got a little suspicious, so the girl called her manager and she was told that when it was brought in it was sick and that as soon as it was healthy that they were going to release it, and i said wait a second if you release it here it's going to die! and she just shrugged and said she couldn't do anything about that. This has been bothering me all day, i'm worried that they're going to release it here and that it's going to die, I really like that store but if I find out that they do this, I don't think I could shop there anymore, am I just being to harsh, we even offered to take the snake for free and give them a 50$ donation because they said it was illeagle to sell a wild caught snake but they refused I'm just really worried about this and for some reason it's been on my mind all day, it's horrible that snakes are being treated like this, but getting to the point, i was wondering if anyone had any close ties there, that maybe they can get the snake and keep it or get it to a good home, i would feel much better.
