I found a DOR gravid female south of Carlos, TX many years ago. I don't remember the size of the clutch exactly, but I do remember it was more than a few (probably more than 8 eggs - I don't remember precisely, I just have a vague recollection). The female was probably around four feet, and heavy bodied like most corns around here are.

I am headed out to find a pair (if Rob doesn't get them all first!) this spring.

guttata or emoryi, these local snakes are beautiful snakes in their own right!
