Caught a 6 1/2' male black rat last september.He refused all food items including a chipmunk,SO I put him in a large tupperware box and put him down on my basement floor where I measured the temp. at 56 degrees.Last week I brought him upstairs,put him back in his 6'x2'x2 1/2' custom cage,increased his temp.slowly over a few days and offered him a small rat which he devoured imeadiatly.Now I'm a happy camper! He is truely an awsome and easy to handle serpent.I am now in the market for a digital camera so I can post pics of him and his 300lb.custom made cage.
