People who are not into herps just don't understand how we could find anything so "slimy" to ever be cute or pretty. Whenever I'm out looking for herps at the state park near where I live and I pick up a snake, people sometimes look at me like I'm the devil.

: well...My little Taiwan Beauty Rat Snake shed....It was terrible! I had raised humidity 60-70%, but it wouldnt come off. So, I soaked her. This is the first time I have done this for any snake. Thanks to all who told me what to do! Her shed came off in one piece!(give or take a few scales)...I started screaming around the house how pretty she was! My parents and sister gave me the weirdest look as I said, "Whos the sexiest snake? you are! YOU ARE!" By the way,I was talking to my rat snake. Thanks everyone. -
