: : I am new to rat snake and colubrids. I have kept boas and pythons or many years but colubrids are a new adventure. can i please ask one question, and please do not jump my case but.......what is the difference between rat snakes and corn snakes? I have seen some rat snakes that look very much like corns, in their patterns and body structure. I know scale count and different things like that can make a difference but what exactly makes them different (in the rat snakes that tend to look like a corn snakes)a good axample to me is the emorys rat snake ,very corn snakish markings . Also, bairds rats when they are babies look very corn snakeish LOL
: : ok well enough rambling. thanks guys for your time- robin
