Anerythristic Yellow rats are being bred by a number of breeders including myself. Everyone got their stock from Chris McQuade at Gulf Coast Reptile in Fort Meyers, FL who started with a WC male that is now dead.
They grow very slowly when compared to normal yellow or everglades rats, so it will be sometime before they are common.
The "Ghost Glade" has a golden dorsals with reduced melanine on the sides. Not spectacular but really different & no one really knows what it is yet. Some call it white sided, some hypomelanistic but there is also no red. The mutation came from a WC female that is still alive at Gulf Coast Reptile.
